Club races

Club races are held in Saugatuck Harbor, on Lake Kalamazoo, Wednesdays at 1:00pm & Saturdays at 11:00am. All students are strongly encouraged to watch and/or participate in Wednesday races. Students participating in the races are expected to arrive one hour before the start of races. The regular racing season begins Saturday June 13 & ends Saturday August 8.

WMYSA

The West Michigan Youth Sailing Association (WMYSA) is an association of several West Michigan yacht clubs & sailing programs, including SYCSP. In this race series, our race team completes with eight other member yacht clubs. Races are held on various Fridays throughout the summer. It is a great opportunity for our sailors to visit other yacht clubs and practice their sailing and racing knowledge.  Dates for these races can be found on the Calendar page.
